Five questions and five answers )

If you want me to interview you, post a comment that simply says, "Interview me." I'll respond with questions for you to take back to your own journal and answer as a post. Of course, they'll be different for each person since this is an interview and not a general survey. At the bottom of your post, after answering the Interviewer's questions, you ask if anyone wants to be interviewed. So it becomes your turn-- in the comments, you ask them any questions you have for them to take back to their journals and answer. And so it becomes the circle.

1. Your recent meeting at work. You know the one I mean. How will it modify your activity on-line? How do you feel about that?
How many questions is this? OK, I will change my behaviour by not using the net for personal use at work. This will mean that I will spend dramatically less time on-line. I won't be able to spend time on LJ at home because Mendi is not happy with me "wasting" time on-line. How do I feel? Some understanding of work's position because what I was doing could have been construed as taking the piss, but a lot of anger because my work is better than my colleagues and I spend a tremendous amount of time away from home.

2. Same question I asked [livejournal.com profile] the_magician Poly or Greedy? Thoughts?
I would like to consider myself Poly, because I would interpret greedy as plunging into relationships without pausing to consider the feelings of others. Although some would consider me guilty of the latter.

3. Comedy or drama? Stage or screen? TV or Radio?
Books! The pictures I paint in my mind are better

4. If you had the choice, would you rather be well-adjusted and dull, or disturbed and fascinating? Why?
I would guess the latter because I've tried the first and had to surpress too much and that put me firmly in the disturbed box!

5. You have to choose. No sex for a year, or no Internet for a year. Which?
Easy! Just pull the plug on the internet

Busy day today - its been chuffing hot here in Madrid. It's been in the high 30s in the shade and well over 40 where Mad Dogs and Englishmen have been known to tread! This Welshman has been keeping firmly in the shade and finding excuses to audit as many things as possible in the air-conditioned comfort of the server room. The rest of the offices are getting quite uncomfortable and even the locals are having a moan about the heat.

/boring audit crap = on/
I've got a few audit interviews done today, but more importantly I've sorted out the planning and admin for this visit that was left to Lucia (2 grades my senior) Needless to say she did this in a fine Italian stylie and did bugger all. Consequently, the "planning" I've been doing has involved a lot of ego-stroking of the Spanish Management Team. My reputation has not been hurt by the Spanish General Manager sending an e-mail to my boss to ask what the fuck Lucia thought she was doing and complimenting me for sorting things out.

The best audit discovery so far has to be when we were discussing who can change customer information such as credit limits and bank details. The Finance Manager let slip that anyone could do anything because they had not configured the security features of the package that went live before Christmas! My jaw plummeted at the news and fell further when his answer to my question of, "Have you run the reports to see who has changed Customer Credit Limits?" was that they hadn't had the time!!!

I'm sure there'll be more...
/boring audit crap = off/

Still sweaty
