First Lamb The first lamb. A pure-bred Dartmoor lamb. Born on Sunday to one of our best young ewes. Mother and Lamb are doing well :@)

So when are they allowed out to frolick and gambol in the fields?

Well one of the two lambs born over the weekend was born in the fields and will stay there unless the weather takes a really nasty turn. Mint Sauce will stay in unitl the 20 or so other ewes have lambed and then they will go out.

I think they have to be 18 before they're allowed to gambol.
