Life!

Second Life..should I?

Are any of you doing it?

Number 1 son is currently addicted to it. He is carving out a niche on Teen Second Life and is having a lot of fun. He's had a few dramas, but it doesn't seem to be impacting on school so I'm comfortable with it. I've just seen his current Avatar and it is truly mental. I've seen him be one of his Draconid (Humanoid/dragon creatures), a power-suited gun bunny and a halloween themed power-suited marine. However, his current incarnation takes the business...he's now a blue microbe compete with silly smiley face and frondy tentacles. He's complained that everyone seem to want to kill him. Surprise!

...but you want, "teenage boys to treat as your toys!" Aren't I allowed suitable diversions? ;@)

I'm tempted, but I haven't yet. All else aside, it's pretty demanding of a computer, and I'm not sure my laptop can hack it :(

I set up an account at work (have I mentioned how cool my job is?) to explore Radio 1 island, but it was a bit boring and I haven't been back since.

my friends keep vanishing into it, and being obsessed with it instead of real life. :/ on the one hand, i guess that means it's fun, on the other, i would rather they spent more time on real life...

Wanting to kill microbes....
I know the feeling at the moment - he doesn't look like the cold virus does he?
*gets out gun...*
