Oh what a superb day - FECKIN NOT!!!

Let's start at the beginning shall we...
I woke at 4am with crushing chest pains which had my heart doing racing at God-only knows how many beats per minute. Trying not to assume the worst I toddled to the bathroom, gobbled some antacid and water and slowly went back to sleep.
I woke again at 05.30, this time with a splitting headache and my debilitating neck pain - off to the bathroom again for more pills - but at least my chest had relaxed.
I finally returned to something resembling consciousness at 06:50. This time I was just feeling knackered and the neck pain was no better so I took the Magic Pill (Tramadol). Suitably numb and tingly I finished my packing and had breakfast.
I was ready for my lift 5 minutes before it was due to arrive, only to receive a text message saying that it would be 15 minutes late - Grrrr!
25 minutes later Daniel (Local IS techy and mate, but not good in the mornings) arrived as if nothing was wrong. I threw my bag into the car and did my best to just sit there and not tear him a new arsehole - I feckin hate being late! - Grrrr!
We got to be ambushed by the General Manager who had checked the data from the load the night before and found errors. Daniel and I started investigating straight away and found that almost 60,000 products had not had their prices changed. - Grrrr!
By now I was ready to kill and I phoned the Account Manager of our the Manchester Muppets who supply and support our system only to find that he "would be late in because he got back late form a client" and his mobile was off - Grrrr!
I then decided to phone the developer who we had been working with to get a similar response - Grrrr! Eventually, I got a response from the Account Manager about an hour before I was due to leave for the Airport. I got some pretty quick, discouraging feedback from him - they didn't know what was wrong, but would look into it straight away. I updated Martijn and he all but begged me to stay until things were put right.
I'm a sucker for blond hair and blue eyes and so I then spent about an hour or so getting people to unravel and ravel (?) my travel plans, accommodation and diary. That left me with the task of breaking the news to my nearest and dearest - oh joy.
[Bad username or site: the mendicant @ livejournal.com] was not best pleased especially as
gardenpixie was going to cook for me this evening and
daemongirl had made a chocolate cake for my return. The most upsetting person to speak to was Ivan, he has really missed my this trip and his teacher has told Mendi that he was crying in school about it - I'm so sorry guys.
It's now getting on for 20:00 and the MMs have packed up for the day. They've made reasonable progress and loaded all but 13,000 of the prices. But I'm stumbling through the database trying to find common reasons why the remainder haven't loaded. I've also got to look forward to returning to the hotel and trying to find cleanish clothes for the morning. I know I'm OK for shirts and pants, but it may be crackly sock time!
Please forgive me if I don't end with a chirpy little quip, but I'm sure you'll understand if I finish with a,
FECK OFF!!!
[EDIT]I'm not realy as angry as I probably sound, I'm just very tired, homesick and not altogether well.
