whotheheckamiHere I am again, at a desk in Beauvais for the rest of the week. Since I was last here the project I'm here to Audit has moved on apace and they claim to have had a "straight-forward" Trial Cutover from their existing systems to SAP.
One could simply say "bollocks," but instead one will ask to see the list of issues raised during the Trial and one will then ask to see the list with ALL the issues on it. Some of one's assoicates that took part in the Cutover have already let one know that they used up all and more of the planned contingency time during the Cutover and that they considered abandoning the whole exercise.
Somewhere in the mis-management chain this near-disaster has been carefully spun into "straight-forward" event. Hmmmm
