Self Satisfied Post

Have just finished undercoat on two new loft hatches that have been staring at us for months.

I'd jsut like to say:
I hate DIY
I hate painting
But I have done it
And have not made much mess
Time to wash brush and self
Gloss coat tomorrow

I feel such unmitigated joy in the anticipation. How ever will I manage to sleep tonight?

All cleaned up now
Emptied Rayburn
Emptied and re-laid fireplace
Tidied up
Water on Rayburn ready for a cuppa when the_mendicant arrives home
Now I'm feeling smug
