Scores for the Jubilee Weekend
MSG: 3 (same one, just 3 times)
Alcohol Count: 3 (but accused of drinking too much)
Mexican Rice: 1/4
Time Spent On-line: 20 mins (but accused of being a net junkie)
Not long been back home from spending the holiday weekend with the in-laws. They are arch-conservatives and find our new "witchy-ways" far too difficult to understand. Despite being criticised for drinking too much - two whole bottles of Budwar in an evening! a good time was gleaned by all. The Yorkshire countryside helped a lot, but I nearly screamed when we took a "more direct route" back to the house that took over twice as long as a-roads and seemed to travel along every bloody road in Wharfdale.
The stress got to us by Sunday eveing and, like teenagers having their first drags, we sneaked out to the village cricket ground for a crafty bit of Mexican Rice in the rain.
Home now and sneaking a bit of time to write this blurb before cleaning the house ready for the arrival of my parents. Its like getting ready for a State Visit (and I speak from experience). Ah well, must go - toilets to clean and food to prepare. (hmmm shall I clean up between jobs or shall I make dinner more of a gamble?)
Oh yes - the jubilee - hardly saw any of it and qiute glad to miss it.
