We completed the interview stage of the audit today and sent the draft presentation back to London for decimation. That leaves tomorrow to make any re-writes and chase up any open items with the Project Team. Most of today was taken up with electric break dancing (video conferences) with the Project Teams in Hong Kong and Australia. These two projects aren’t due to go-live until the Summer and so I’ve got a few months to convince my boss that I’ve done such a good job here that I’ll just have to go out and do similar audits for the other projects. Join an orderly queue if you want to come with me; just there behind Mendi, Alexi and Ivan!
Decided to call it a day at 18:15 and head back to the hotel to was and change before going out with one of the local auditors to wander around Chinatown and grab some food. David ordered for us and I was faced with Fish Head Curry! Which tastes as bad as it sounds. Half a gallon of Tiger beer made it just about palatable and I am not feeling too wonderful now – not a culinary experience to be repeated!
Back in the hotel and I’m planning an early night. See ya
