...and feel lousy :@(
I woke up with a headache on Saturday morning and it's still here today - Grrr. However, life does go on and I've still managed to get loads done...

The trip back from Haarlem was a pain in the arse - at least a 5 Grrr trip but at least I got home. It was great to see the boys and Ivan loved his Battle Damaged Spiderman (Cuoldn't find the Green Goblin, but we're heading up to Nottingham today and so we may have more luck) I did my unpacking whilst Mendi nipped up to work to handover stuff because she is taking study leave next week.

Pixie and Daemongirl came over later and I got to eat my chocolate cake - Thanks sweetie, it was superb!

Saturday has been a busy day. I got up early and was back from Tesco's by 08:15, then it was off to Oakham to get the boys' hair cut (number 4 for Ivan and a "nice" trim for Alexi - their choices) and do a library run. We came home and tidied up before I tok Maggie for a walk. Thsi used up what was left of the morning and I took Mendi some Paracetamol (she's got an awful sore throat) and made lunch.

I was able to get about 30 minutes of downtime before getting on with more chore which including taking more books to the librarty in Melton. I was accompanied by Pixie, Ivan and and a certain flouncy young lady. More chores followed after we got home and Pixie and I moved stuff from our old allotment ([personal profile] flickgc: are allotments pikey?) to Pixie's garden where we are going to cultivate a huge plot.

Mendi was feeling a bit brighter by now so we went out dog walking and ended up by a stream which gave Magie and Fennel a chance to get well mudded up. I was amazed to find that it was almost 7pm when we got back and so I busies myself in the kitchen making curry for us all.

Suitably stuffed we only had the energy to sit and watch "Crush" for the rest of the evening. This was billed as a CHick Flick (which I normally like) but found this reasinably formulaic and dull - still , it passed the time. Pixie and Daemong went home after that and I was glad to get to bed - zzzz

Now all I want to know is why the bleep am I awake this early on a Sunday morning - Grrrr!
