What rating is your journal?

brought to you by Quizilla

No One 17 and Under should be admitted. This signifies that most people think your journal is patently adult and that people at the age 17 and under should not read it. Your journal may contain explicit sex, an accumulation of sexually-oriented language, or excessive violence and gore. The NC-17 designation does not, however, signify that your is obscene or pornographic, although it could very well be you pervert!

Sorry [livejournal.com profile] daemongirl you can't look now! ;@)

I was allowed OUT last night! My nursing staff (Mendi and Pixie) seemed to be pleased with my progress and so I was allowed to go out to the theatre with Mendi, Fleur and Kanga. We went to Tolethorpe Hall near Stamford

A stage set in an enchanting glade, a company of fine actors, stunning sets and gorgeous costumes.... the magic of Tolethorpe begins the moment you take your seat in one of Europe's finest open air theatres on a warm summer evening.

Comfortably seated and protected from summer showers beneath a modern all-weather canopy, it's the perfect setting for you to enjoy the works of the world's greatest playwright.

But an evening of drama at Tolethorpe's open air theatre is much more than a play. A picnic in the grounds...a stroll through the period gardens...or perhaps a pre-performance meal in one of the charming restaurant rooms in the Elizabethan Hall. It all combines to create a unique and unforgettable experience...one not to be missed!

We saw THE BEAUX' STRATAGEM.
Farquhar's rollicking Restoration romp concerns two London Gentlemen of Fashion who seek to recoup their broken fortunes in the sleepy country town of Lichfield. Surrounded by a menagerie of unforgettable characters - a renegade Irish priest, a French prisoner of war, flirts, fops, highwaymen, scallywags all! Our London Rakes take Lichfield's Ladies of Quality by storm!

Which I enjoyed immensely, despite being treated like an invalid by being driven almost to my seat, being wrapped in na blanket and generally being cosseted. I know its for the good, but I hate it - harrumph! I was exhausted after the performance, even with all the care that the girls took and so there is no way I would have been well enough to travel into London tonight to see Ryuchi Sakamoto at the Union Chapel with [livejournal.com profile] flickgc - (sorry hun :@()

Earlier in the day I had been to see my Doctor and he pumped my arm up and ww were pleased to see that my BP had recovered to a more sensible 134//85. I can't go back to work until I've had an exercise ECG to see if I've got Angina and that's means I've got to wait on the Consultant from Peteborough writing to my GP and healthcare company. So it looks like I'm going to get quite a bit of time at home. It also means that I'm going to have to continue to take things easy, try to lose weight and consider what options I may have if my medical condition means that I can't continue to do my job. I've got a lot of things to think about.
