Girls, Goths and Grub

I had a great evening last night. I left work just before 5pm and crawled through the Oxford traffic to meet florence90 and her friend Clare (who is on LJ, but I forgot her username duh! *slaps head*)(and who is just as cute as florence90!). We commenced our evening with a swift beer at the Gloc and then on for cocktails at New Orleans before heading for some nose-bag at Bella Pasta. We got lots of gossiping done and somewhere along the line I found out that Clare had just stated an apprenticeship at Le Manoir. So of course that meant that we just ended up having to have lots of foodie chats ;@) Later on I drove florence90 home and left Clare to get lots of birthday kisses from her mates in the Gloc.

11pm saw me pushing a trolley around a 24 hour Tesco buying toiletries and stuff because I hadn’t brought any of my overnight stuff with me and 20 minutes after that I was burrowing beneath a duvet at the Travel Inn – zzzzz

I had a reasonable night’s sleep and was in the office by 7am. It’s now 9.30 and I’ve finished all the work I’d planned to do today. I’ve got a meeting that’ll take me up to lunchtime, but I think I’ll evaporate soon after that and head back to the office in Corby home ;@)
