Attack of the Domestic Goddess!

the_mendicant had been a very busy babe and had been emulating Nigella Lawson. She’d taken a day off work and had decided to spend it being a Domestic Goddess! The house was spotless; she’d killed the ironing beast, made a superb beef casserole and was sitting in front of a roaring fire doing some sewing. I thought I’d arrived in Stepford! ;@) She then suggested that we invite Pixie and snowyfeline to join us for supper. They were happy to accept and after taking Maggie for a walk in the snow slush I went to Oakham to pick the girls up.
It was lovely for all of us to sit down together to eat, chat, watch some TV and enjoy the heat of the fire. It was just a shame thatrobinbloke was not there too. I drove the girls back later in the evening and took advantage of a much need snuggle with Mendi and an early night.
