An update on the patient

Mendi has slept reasonably well and has had her breakfast and her first set of painkillers. She says she is in less pain and seems to have a bit more mobility in her arm.

We've had a lot more snow overnight and probably have between 5-10 cm littering the place. Given Mendi's housebound status, my duties and the weather I can't help making comparisons with a certain Stephen King novel which was memorable filmed in 1990 with James Caan and Kathy Bates..."I'm her number one fan!"
