Well its a while since I did a proper update and I can finally say that I seem to be getting over the flu/cold virus that absolutely knocked me for six 2 weeks ago! I'm still not right, but at least I seem to have stopped shivvering. In amongst the tissues and the paracetamol I still managed to have a lovely weekend in Cheltenham with [personal profile] sarah_mum. However, I think I was till in the depths of viral hallucinations on Friday evening when I went to see the Mighty Boosch with [profile] countb, [profile] frag_, [profile] miss_anthr0py and my beloved. They really weren't that strange were they? Surely I imagined deep-sea transvestites, polo-eyed cockney psycho killers, dancing gorillas and goths in shiney spandex? Class! The weekend continued with lots of lounging, reading (have discovered Neal Stephenson's Snowcrash...great fun +++) stealing pretty girls from dooorsteps to hug and time with Sarah's family. A great weekend.

The weekend did a lot to remind me, that despite other stuff that is going on, that there are lots of good things going on in my life as well.
