You nicked my idea! I was thinking about "shag tracks" meme last weekend

Mine is "Annie Mae" by John Lee Hooker, but is currrently at a draw with "The Ballad of Melody Nelson" from Serge Gainsbourg (oooh, dirty!), re-done by Placebo (Sleeping With Ghosts album, Covers section of the double CD edition)

My friend Sascha's selection was anything by Anya (!!)
