Today I shall mostly be....

...cleaning the house from top to bottom in advance of a State Visit from [profile] the_mendicant's parents. They are incredibly fastidious and often critical so I'm making an effort for Mendi's sake and for a quiet life. All is not too horrendous though as I will get to meat our new cleaner - Christina, from Hungary. She started last week and spent 3 hours finding dirt in our kitchen that Mendi and I had been turning a blind eye to for far too long. I'm going to let Christina concentrate on the living and dining rooms today whilst I do upstairs and the kitchen. Hopefully, I can persuade bribe Alexi and Ivan into helping by doing their own room and polishing brass and silver.

I feel particularly loved this morning and am giving out love in return. Mendi and I are very loving and relaxed with each other at the moment and I have other special friends for whom I care deeply and feel supported by them.

Sometimes I just wish I could see them more often. *hugs you all*

I'm now going to wake Mendi...for the second time! She went back to sleep after having breakfast in bed.

These things too will pass. Love can strike when you are least expecting it!
*hugs* back to you

You see, for a non-poly person, you'd be most expecting it while single and least expecting it while you're in the middle of your marriage ceremony and look up at the priest/rabbi/whoever and suddenly fall in love with them instead (or, if male and mono, perhaps by falling in love with your best man at that same time)!

Awww, breakfast in bed. Well done you!

Good luck with the house inspection, I'm lucky that if my parents visit me they seem impressed if I've managed anything at all! heh

Mendi has really missed having me bring her breakfast in bed. I was able to do it most mornings until I started the job in Worcester. I've missed being able to do it and wake up with her too. Stealing away like a thief in the night is not my idea of fun!

She's awake again now and I'm collecting lots more ordfers of things that need cleaning. Apparently, you've been getting similar treatment ;@)

Breakfast in bed!

She even brought me breakfast in bed on Valentine's! It must be love! :@)

I don't think you meant meat like pork. But I can't be entirely sure.

Given that she's from the Bohemian end of E Europe, shouldn't you put the fangs away?

Polishing metalwork - ooh, I used to love doing that as a kid. Which probably explains the ongoing attraction.

Carry on spreading the love you closet hippy! x

My hips won't fit in any closet darling.

With a LJFriends' list like yours? Oh, my the responses you might get!

Glad things are going well. :-)

Best of luck with the neatness patrol; it sounds as if you've made excellent preparations!
