I find Actifed and Piriton work for me (not together!) Although lately it's been staying awake that's been the problem... 3:50 is a totally unreasonable hour to expect anyone to be awake - my deepest sympathies. Isaac decided that 6am was a good time to start the day, and that is bad enough! I hope you have a successful day and a happy one - hopefully with beer featuring at some point :)
