OK, if this is the machine I helped copy stuff off on Sunday then
1) Check that K has *all* the files off the C drive on the external hard disk. I dont think I got them all. (I did copy the whole of D though) 2) Copy everything important off the C drive onto the D drive. 3) Unplug the D drive and keep it safe as a backup. 4) Wait a few weeks if you can.
5) Book the machine with win98 CD in the drive - it should hopefully notice and start the install process. You *will* need to reformat it but the install process should be able to cope.
