You are right it was hell at the time, but typing about it certainly reveals my underlying pomposity.
However, this is the first time I've posted anything about my Mam and I ended up dreaming about her reading my LJ and being very unimpressed. I suppose that means that a boy never really leaves his Mam's apron strings (or sheds their power to layer you with guilt!)
