whotheheckamiFurther to yesterday's parental pride I got home to find out that Alexi's (our 13 year old) end of term English test put him at a level with 17 year-olds! Also Ivan (Age 11 and has Asperger's Syndrome - a form of Autism) has told us he got 95% in his end of term history test today.
I didn't get long for this news to sink in before the boys and I headed to Peterborough for Ivan's premiere. We took two of Ivan's school friends along as well and we really had a great time. The re-edit of Space Cadets delivered a
much tighter film and Ivan's death-scene was suitably gruesome.
I got home in time to watch the end of the Apprentice withthe_mendicant and then give her a reflexology session before we collapsed into much needed sleep. Unfortunately, I didn't sleep well and felt awful. This resulted in me waking Mendi up before 5am! I am sorry my darling @>-->--- :@(. In the end I gave up trying to sleep and drove into work very early - I was at my desk by 06:45! I've felt pretty grotty all day, but I'm still going to go to college this evening because I've missed far too many sessions lately.
