Meanwhile, back in Rutland we've also had a good day. Alexi and Ivan didn't do much this morning apart from their usual round of TV and computers. Saying that,

She had a lovely muddy time in the marsh along the stream and so I gave her a bath when we got home - she still reeks of pondlife, but not as much as before - phew! Consequently, her afternoon walk was a much more foreshortened, sedate and clean affair.
Pixie and I went out as soon as we'd finished with Maggie and did a recycling run and picked up chips for lunch. I then took the time to do my relaxation tape and have a few minutes' snooze.
We've not long come back from Melton swimming pool where Ivan surprised us all by being last out of the pool, having helped one of the lifeguards by retrieving his whistle from the bottom of the deep end! He was very proud of himself and we all giggled because Thursday's Father Ted had been "The Old Grey Whistle Theft!"
Pixie and I are just getting ready to head across to TGT and Sandra's for a belated birthday supper for TGT. It should be good evening with lots of lovely food, wine and company.
Bye y'all!
