Some of you may know that I'm very interested in massage and complimentary therapy. I've decide to take that interest a stage or two further and start some training at evening courses this Autumn. I have decided that this year I'm able to spend two evenings a week learning new skills. There is a catch with this - I must spend one evening a week learning Anatomy and Physiology. That means I have to choose between the three courses that the college have on offer for the coming year. I've made my decision, but I'd like to hear what you guys think I should do so here is a Poll to keep you occupied:

Reflexology is a very nice way of getting a foot message, but I don't for one moment believe that it can cure problems in other parts of the body.

On the other hand, some of the oils used in aromatherapy can certainly affect mood and some may have an effect when rubbed into the skin. There will inevitably be some claims that are OTT as there are for all forms of alternative medicine, but there's certainly some genuine stuff there and a good massage never did any harm to anyone. It's a nice way to relax and can be really good for muscle problems as well.

If your set books include "Principles of Anatomy and Physiology" by Tortora and Grabowski (which is the case for many of these courses) then I can lend you a copy.

I suspect there's no formal registration req'd for aromatherapy, so one might be able to earn money sooner. Maybe. But how much?

I also got the book you need...
