The run up to Christmas at Northfield...
Dec. 15th, 2005 07:01 pm...is bloody exhausting. I think I have a home, I think I have a wife and children, I'm fairly sure I still have girlfriend and somewhere along the way I may even have a life!
The rush of orders at the farm is dominating our existance at the moment and tempers are getting extremely ragged. I'm doing my best to retain a sense of humour, but am finding it increasingly difficult. It's easy being nice to the animals and the customers...it's just the other staff that cause the real problems!
Anyway, there's only one more day to go before the weekend and I'm sure I can grit my teeth and get through it. I'll even make sure I'm in a fit enough state to make suitable preparation for Mendi's birthday celebrations on Saturday evening. Needless to say there will be a party this weekend and it will be a superb opportunity for Mendi and I to breathe...and...relax (and have a bloody good time!)
Do not be surprised if you get roped in to help with the party preparations if you're planning to arrive early.
