Blue sky thinking
Jun. 3rd, 2006 08:19 amI'm up in the beautiful small town of Denbigh, which nestles between heather-covered rolling hills in the Vale of Clwyd in North Wales. I'm visiting my sister and her family after taking my Mam home to Llandudno yesterday.
I'm looking out at the castle at the centre of the town and the bright sunlight is illuminating everthing. The weather is good and my spirits have been given quite a lift. Being close to the see really helps as well and I celbrated that for going for a swin on Old Colwyn Beach yesterday. I'm going to have to move closer to the see when the time is right.
Yesterday, I went for a long walk with my sister, Chrissy. We were out for ages and talked of lots of things. It was so good to speak to her and to tell her things that I've not wanted to say down the phone. She was both very understanding and supportive. Wonderful. It's a shame I can't stay up here longer, but I need to back in Rutland tonight so that I can work for the Farm at the Rutland Show tomorrow. My Mam will be dropping the boys off later this morning and we'll be back Chez Who in time for Dr Who. Rar!
I wish I had time to say more, but breakfast calls
