More plans than a planny thing…

...on a planny day in planland!

I mean how difficult should it be to go to someone's party? However, the Who-terage have managed to make a 3-ring circus out of it.


Plan A
Pixie and I
+ travel down to party on the day
+ sleep over at party
+ return to Rutland the following day

Mendi and Robin
+ take Alexi and Ivan with them
+ travel down on the day
+ go to the house of a good friend
+ persuade friend to come to party
+ leave boys with her sons to eat DVDs and watch pizza
+ party
+ sleep at friend's
+ return the following day

Plan B - My Mum offers to babysit
Pixie and I
+ I travel back from werk on Friday and go straight to Pixie's because my Mum thinks Mendi is meeting me in Cheltenham
+ as plan A

Mendi and Robin
+ Mendi meets up with Robin somewhere near the house
+ Mendi and Robin find a quiet hotel somewhere for Friday night
+ Then as plan A, but without added boys ;@)

Plan C
+ I feel that Mendi and I should spend Friday night with my Mum because we haven't seen her since Christmas
+ Mendi and I have even managed to bicker and squabble about it
+ We agree to plan B

Plan D
+ My Mum calls to say that she can't come
+ She's forgotten that she's had tickets for the Welsh National Opera as a present!
+ Aaaaaargh 1!

Plan E
+ See Plan A
+ Rinse and repeat
+ Now with added talodi who will be traveling down with Pixie and I

Plan F
+ We realise that we've forgotten about Maggie
+ She can't travel with us or go to kennels because she's on heat
+ Aaaaaaargh 2!
+ snowyfeline to the rescue
+ Cat, fish, house and Maggie sitter extraodinaire

Plan S
+ That will be the sekrit plan!
+ Muhahahaha!


We still have over a week to go before the party and I don't want to think how many more iterations this bloody plan will have.


What can I do to protect this version of the plan?

That's the cunning part. You do that with "The plan most likely to not end up being the plan" While "the plan you want to be the real plan" sits unasumingly on the back of an envelope stuck to a dartboard.

I want to know more about Plan S. You know it could be quite amusing have a Maggie on heat with a ball-less Pootle... heh! That's just cruel isn't it? He still tries to hump my brother's dog, mind you SHE'S just as bad!

That would be far too cruel beacasue maggie is jsut a touch irritable at the moment (you wouldn't know anything about that, would you?) and poor Pootle may end up as an appetizer!
