...wait for it!
BUSY!
Today's plan looks like this:
07:30 Make packed lunch for Kate and Maggie's food
07:40 Ensure Alexi and Ivan are ready for school
07:50 Take tea and toast to slumbering Chum
07:55 Take Maggie to farm
08:00 Load show trailer and drive to Melton Market with Jo
08:20 Set up trailer on Market Place for Christmas Light-up marker
08:40 Return to farm
08:50 Feed cattle, pigs and sheep - check all stock
09:50 Clean up
10:00 Return home to collect work-Chum
10:10 To Oakham to collect 300 bread buns
10:30 To Melton to don silly Christmas hats and start cooking yummy burgers for the rest of the day
17:00 Meet up with Clarissa Dickson-Wright
19:30 Make sure CDW is around to turn on the Melton Christmas light and make sure she doesn't kill and cook one of Santa's reindeer!
21:30 Stop cooking and pack up trailer
22:00 Return to farm
22:10 Bid a smoochy farewell to Chum
22:20 Home, scrape grease off in a bath, vodka, sleep!
Oh and a big thank you to those of you who woted for the farm in the Countryside Alliance awards I mentioned here. We were on of 5 rural businesses who made it through to the Midlands regional final. The judges for the nationals spent Wednesday at the fram and we're keeping our fingers crossed to see how well we do.
