Lister never got Kochanski, and is still best friends with Kryten, who is starting to develop some serious glitches.
Rimmer has an ever expanding waist line, has given up all hope of ever passing the navigation exam, and has instead created a new position for himself, insisting it's above everyone else, even captain hollister.
Cat finally found someone to sex.

Reginald Iolanthe Perrin's gradual slide into insanity continues. He's now retired, of course, and he spends his days subverting the normal operation of his care home. Elizabeth does a lot of apologising to the staff on his behalf.

Linda left Tom a long time ago and turned into a traditional capitalist; she now runs a fast food empire. When Uncle Jimmy retired from the army he moved in with her, and spends his time completely failing to make a success of being his housekeeper. He's still desperately fond of her (and of all fat girls who sweat a bit) but there's been a bit of a cock-up on the seduction front.

Adam and Jocasta turned into social misfits, unable to function in modern society, and are currently serving long sentences in separate prisons.

Ah, not quite. Fairly Secret Army starred Geoffrey Palmer as a character who was very clearly based on Jimmy, but wasn't actually the Reggie Perrin character.
