The holiday starts here!
Sarah will be arriving in a few minutes and we'll be departing for the airport at crack-of-sparrows tomorrow morning so I guess I'm on holiday. Don't be suprised if you don't hear from me until next week. I'm likely to choose to be nowhere near the t'interweb and am unlikely to respind to any texts unless they are dire emergencies.
I had a lovely weekend in Cheltenham. Judder was a much fun as ever. Our cosumes were well received...Sarah was Mr Benn and I was the Shopkeeper - there should be some pictures of us in here (look in the gallery)
We also did loads of family stuff becasue it was Sarah's Dad's 70th birthday. There were two lovely family meals at local hostelries, each with tea and cake afterwards at Sarah's folks' home. I really enjoyed myself and managed to get some rough and tumble in with with Sarah's 4-year old nephew. I also finally got to meet Baby-Bel and got a good ration of cuddles. Rar! Babies are ace, but only when you can pass them pack when they get whingey. Bel is such a cutie and as bright as a button.
Didn't sleep very well last night and could not settle at Sarah's. In the end I gave up trying at 02:30 and drove back to Oakham where I managed to doze for about 3 hours in the car. It was surprisingly warm and comfortable. However, the lack of sleep did make today's deliveries for work a lot more of an endurance test than usual. I stopped and catnapped a couple of times and that seemed to do the trick.
Anyway...Sarah has just arrived
Bye y'all xxxx
