The Spirit and Opportunity rovers are still going, though. It's just the static Phoenix digger that's died.

I would just love when there's a manned mission to Mars in 20 or so years' time and the astronauts are being greeted by a little independent community of robots. "Oh HAI, didn't expect you so soon..."
