Party Update – T minus 1 day and counting

azekiel) think its cute that I am excited about my birthday. However, I may be secretly depressed and all this is just an act…..Nah! Bounce, bounce, bounce!!!
Got loads done today ready for tomorrow with the help of Mendi and Pixie. The house is nice and tidy and I have been making nice smells from the kitchen. I’ve been able to achieve so much because my back has stopped hurting. This must mean that it was either not shingles or a very mild attack. Unfortunately, I’ve probably tried to do too much today because I feel absolutelyknackered shattered. Me thinks that a hot bath and a couple of beers are on the menu for tonight.
I got home from doing a party shop at Tesco to find my first present – Mendi had got my Mam to send her all my old baby photos. She has created a sickeningly cute montage of ‘ickle Melvyn in an series of horrendous fancy dress outfits that mentally scarred me for life. Those of you coming to the party will be able to see them in all their dubious glory and I’ll post them when I work out how to upload them to my AOL web space. I may even get round to creating one of these new-fangled webbe-sytes.
I think there’s more to come, because Mendi has been closeting herself in the bedroom and has only been venturing out for tea and photocopying. I wonder how excruciating this will be?
