Help with a new pet

I seem to have a new pet to look after. I'm now caring for Pixie's sanity! She was having a very disturbing day at work where she and her colleagues were being asked to undo everything they have done over the past 3 days. She feared that her poor little sanity would not survive such distress and texted it to me. I've put it in my drawer, but I'm not sure how to look after something like this. Experience has shown me that I'm not even very good at looking after my own sanity.

How do you look after a pet sanity?
What do you feed them?
What do they drink?
Do they like to be warm or cold?
What sort of stimulation do they need?
How do you entertain them?
