Launching an Appeal

whotheheckamiThis is an interruption to your normal programme. I would like to speak to you today on behalf of the birthday appeal for the_mendicant. She is finding that, as the years advance, her memory is failing her and she needs help with remembering the old days!. Consequently, I would like to ask anyone who is coming to her party, and who has not already got her a present to consider donating to the appeal to purchase the Audio-CDs of the superb BBC History series This Sceptered Isle.
Please help if you can. Mendi's memory needs you.
