I think I may be becoming nocturnal!

I’ve had so many of what are, for me, late nights over the past few weeks that I may have skewed my sleep patterns. Mendi and I went to bed at 11pm last night and instead of going straight off to sleep I had to get up and read or spod on the net until nearly 1am – well past cocoa time! Consequently, I’m feeling tired today.
I’m pretty bored at work, because I’m still writing up reports of audits (*1)I conducted at the beginning of the Summer before I was sick. I know it needs doing, but it is just so boring! Did I ever tell you that I have a short attention-sp…The write-up work finishes in another 2 weeks and I’ll be speaking to my manager on Friday to see what delights he has in store for me. My Doctor and I feel that I am well enough to start travelling again, but ST Bits are being very cautious about my health. My only concern is that once they decide that I am fit again they will hit me with an avalanche of overseas audits. Here are a few of the audits/reviews that were on my old schedule:
Singapore JD-Edwards Project Post-Implementation
Australian JD-Edwards Project Pre-Implementation
Australian JD-Edwards Project Post-Implementation
German Web-site
French Web-site
Irish Web-site
UK Web-site
French SAP Project Post-Implementation
German SAP Project Management and Planning
UK SAP Project Management and Planning
UK SAP Project Controls Design
Japanese Systems Review
Non-UK Purchases
Hey-ho – at least I’ll get plenty of air miles!
To make matters even more boring at work I’ve ended up being on my own. Our boss is in head-office for most of this week; one auditor is one holiday; another is carrying out a quality and H&S audit of our Irish business; yet another is working with an external client and the final one is kicking her heals in Italy waiting for her notice period to come to an end!
*1 I’ve actually just finished one of these reports this afternoon when it isn’t due in until the end of the week
