Amongst other things that I've been doing (moaning at teenagers and other sundry children and generally being a snark) last night I went round to see TGT and Sandra for some food, wine and a smoke. It gave Mendi, Pixie and I some distance from the children and was a very pleasant evening.
However, the highlight of the evening was playing with the two eight-week old farm kittens they have acquired. They are both unfeasibly cute and are called Splash and Dash. Dash is a pretty little tabby who is extremely fastidious and was content to curl up on Mendi's lap and wash herself, Mendi's hand and anything else that came near. Splash, on the other hand, is a totally different story. She wouldn't settle and was exploring everthing, everywhere and everyone. Every would be a superb name for her because she has the strangest markings I have ever seen on a kitten. She looks as if she has been painted with what was left on palate when all the other kittens had been painted. She is black and white and tabbie and tortie and ginger and grey and.....basically she looks a complete mess but she is so cute.
I NEED HER!
